About

Every second you spend second guessing your gifts is another second you spend depriving the world of them.

And the world needs them. The world needs you.

The world needs everything you can offer and nothing less. Think they aren’t important? Think you aren’t important? Think twice, and the second time realize that every interaction you have with someone is an opportunity to introduce a glimmer of kindness into this world. Whether it’s a smile, a kind word, or compassionate gesture, kindness, like love, is one of the few actions that can multiply with great haste, and only a little bit to get it started.

Kindness is also, coincidentally, one of the few emotions/instances/actions that when you create it, you gain so much more than what you gave to produce it.

So why not be the vessel to bring kindness into the world? You have nothing to lose, and the world has everything to gain.

Leave your mark.

Hello, by the way- my name is Samantha, and I’m happy you’re here. This site was started out of my own personal need to get the thoughts out on paper of who my God is, and it began in the form of journal entries, written-up paper napkins, and countless iPhone notes. It morphed into Be the Vessel when a few women close to me and my heart encouraged me to use my God-given voice. Because I’m a little shy, I figured a blog would be the best avenue 🙂

Again, I’m happy you’re here, and hope you use your God-given voice to engage in the conversation. I’d love to hear your thoughts on being a vessel for God’s Kingdom in today’s society- challenges, triumphs, and everything in between.

xoxo, Samantha
